Loon in the Morning Mist - Tom Thomspon Lake
Original Painting - SOLD to a Private Collector
12in x 24in Oil on 1.5” Deep Gallery Canvas
I left my campsite on Tom Thomson Lake in Algonquin Park at first light and paddled into the morning mist. In a quiet cove I watched as this Loon slept with his head under his wing, floating in the mist. The sound of my paddle hitting the gunwhale woke him up and he gave me this image.
